Director
Professor Katherine Ravenswood (Director) is a leading expert in employment relations and the impact of macro and workplace levers on inequality and inclusion in work. She has held positions on government and industry boards and committees nationally and provided expert advice to government agencies and researchers in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the UK and Europe.
Yashika Chandhok

Yashika Chandhok is an early career researcher in human and employment relations, with experience in India, Singapore and New Zealand. She examines how employees from minority groups negotiate for their progress and wellbeing at workplaces. Using indigenous research methodologies, she explores how participants' intersectional identities shape their employment experiences.

Tanya Ewertowska is an early career researcher in employment relations. She specialises in creative and participatory methodologies to examine marginalised workers' everyday experiences within macro-environments. She is passionate about community building across diverse settings, including within research processes, industry partnerships and educational spaces.

Associate Professor Peter McGhee is an experienced researcher in business ethics and sustainability. As a critical realist, Dr McGhee examines the underlying structures and mechanisms that shape organisational behaviour. His work seeks to uncover the deeper realities behind ethical decision-making and leadership, integrating philosophical insights with practical management applications to drive meaningful change.
Maulupeivao Dr Betty Ofe-Grant

Maulupeivao Dr Betty Ofe-Grant is a qualitative researcher specialising in HRD, gender, diversity, Oceanic-Pacific methodologies, and the intersections of work and culture for Pacific peoples. Betty coined the term ‘brown glass ceiling’ to describe the cultural conflicts Pacific peoples’ experience within the NZ workplace.

Associate Professor Harminder Singh is an experienced researcher in the field of information systems. He specialises in the areas of technology risk, governance and ethics. Methodologically, he uses qualitative and quantitative review methods, such as meta-analysis, system dynamics, and systematic literature reviews, to structure fragmented fields and suggest paths forward for future research.

Dr Cordelia Stewart is an early career researcher who specialises in consumer culture and transformative consumer research. Cordelia mostly employs qualitative methodologies to explore the practices and experiences of various marginalised and disadvantaged societalal groups. Her research is primarily driven by the need to amplify the voices of those who remain excluded from academic and policy discussions.
