Putting Young Workers on the Agenda

ASTRI is proud to invite young workers, those who work with and for youth, policy makers, employers, and unions to join a critical conversation around young people in our workforce!

Today's young workers are a crucial workforce as our population ages and labour shortages increase. Those entering and moving through working life today will shoulder more, not less, of the burden of keeping our economy and communities functioning. Yet, in the last few years we’ve seen skyrocketing youth employment challenges and policy changes that impact our young people.

In this event we bring together three expert panellists who work with and advocate for youth across key spaces: in organisations, non-profit and union spaces, and through research. Our panellists will discuss the realities of being a young worker in our current environment and set an agenda for what young workers need to see from our next government.

The panel will be followed by an opportunity to connect over light refreshments.
